بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِاَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ
وَالصَّلوٰۃُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلیٰ اَشْرَفِ الْاَنْبِیَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِیْنَ
سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلیٰ اٰلِہٖ وَصَحْبِہٖ اَجْمَعِیْنَاَللّٰہُمَّ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ
مِنَّا١ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُوَ تُبْ عَلَیْنَا
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِیْمُوَاغْفِرْلَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَذُنُوْبَ
وَالِدِیْنَا وَمَشَایِخِنَا وَجَمِیْعِ الْمُؤمِنِیْنَ اَجْمَعِیْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا
بِکُلِّ حَرْفٍ مِّنَ الْقُراٰنِ حَلَاوَۃً وَبِکُلِّ جُزْءٍ
مِّنَ الْقُرْاٰنِ جَزَآءً اَللّٰہُمَّ نَوِّرْ
قُلُوْبَنَا بِالْاِیْمَانِ وَزَیِّنْ اَخْلَاقَنَا
بِالْقُرْاٰنِ وَنَجِّنَا
مِنَ النَّارِ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ وَاَدْخِلْنَا فِی
الْجَنَّۃِ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ ثُمَّ
اِلیٰ اَرْوَاحِ مَنْ قَرَأنا ھٰھُنَا بِسَبَبِہِمْ وَتَلَوْنَا
الْقُرْاٰنَ الْعَظِیْمَ لِاَجَلِہِمْ وَجِہَتِہِمْ مَنْ اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِہِمْ
وَبِاَسْمَائِہِمْName وَغَنِیٌّ عَنَّا اِذَا سَمَّیْنٰھُمْ یَا رَبَّ
الْعٰلَمِیْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ
اغْفِرْ لَہُمْ وَارْحَمْہُمْ وَسَکِّنْہُمْ فِی الْجَنَّۃِ 3 Times وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَیِّئٰتِہِمْ وَاحْشُرْھُمْ
مَعَ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَالصِّدِّیْقِیْنَ وَالشُّہَدَاءِ وَالصّٰلِحِیْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ
اِنْ کَانُوْا مُحْسِنِیْنَ فَزِدْ فِی اِحْسَانِہِمْ وَاِنْ کَانُوْا
مُسِیْئِیْنَ فَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْہُمْ وَلَقِّہِمُ الْاَمْنَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا
اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ لَا
تَحْرِمْنَا اَجْرَھُمْ وَلَا تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَھُمْ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَھُمْ
وَلِلْمُسْلِمِیْنَ اَجْمَعِیْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْ
قَبْرَھُمْ رَوْضَۃً مِّنْ رِّیَاضِ الْجِنَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ قَبْرَھُمْ
حُفْرَۃً مِّنْ حُفَرِ النِّیْرَانِ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ ثُمَّ اِلٰی اَرْوَاحِ
اَھْلِ الْمَعْلٰی وَالْبَقِیْعِ وَاَمْوَاتِ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ
وَالْمُوْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُوْمِنَاتِ الْاَحْیَاءِ مِنْہُمْ وَالْاَمْوَاتِ
بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ
اَللّٰہُمَّ
اجْعَلِ الْقُرْاٰنَ لَنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا قَرِیْنًا وَفِی الْقَبْرِ مُوْنِساً
وَفِی الْقِیَامَۃِ شَفِیْعاً وَعَــلَی
الصِّرَاطِ نُوْرًا وَفِی الْجَنَّۃِ رَفِیْقًا وَمِنَ النَّارِ سِتْرًا
وَّحِجَاباً وَاِلَی الْخَیْرَاتِ کُلِّہَا دَلِیْلًا وَّ اِمَامًا
وَصَلَّی
اللہُ تَعالیٰ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلیٰ اٰلِہٖ وَصَحْبِہٖ
اَجْمَعِیْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ للہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
الْفَاتِحَہْ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَتَهٗ یُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِیِّ١ؕ
یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَیْهِ وَ سَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِیْمًا۵۶
اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلیٰ سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
وَعَلیٰ اٰلِ سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ کُلَّمَا ذَکَرَکَ الذَّاکِرُوْنَ
وَغَفِلَ عَنْ ذِکْرِکَ الْغَافِلُوْنَ وَبَارِکْ وَسَلِّمْ تَسْلِیْمًا کَثِیْرًا کَثِیْرًا
سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا یَصِفُوْنَۚ۱۸۰وَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَى
الْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚ۱۸۱وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ۠۱۸۲
Translation of Deceased Du’a
In the name of Allah, Most Beneficent, All Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the universe. May peace and blessings of Allah be bestowed upon the most honored of Messengers, our beloved Master Muhammad ﷺand upon his noble Family and all his illustrious Companions.
O Allah, our Lord accept from us for verily You are the Hearer, the Knower. And accept our repentance, for verily You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Merciful. Forgive our sins and the sins of our parents, our elders and all the believers. O Allah, grant us with each word of the Qur’an being recited by us sweetness and with each part of the Qur’an being recited a reward. O Allah, lighten and brighten up our hearts with the Qur’an and beautify our character there with. O Allah, save us from the fire (through) the Qur’an and let us enter Paradise through (the greatness) of the Qur’an with Your Mercy. O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.We read this Du’a upon the souls of those on whose account and memory this Du’a is being read, and we have recited the Holy Qur’an on their behalf, and on behalf of them whom you have best knowledge of and on behalf of [NAME OF PERSON] and on behalf of the souls of those whom we need not mention. O Lord of the universe. O Allah, forgive them and have mercy on them and let them dwell in Paradise, and ease and blot out their sins and cause them to be resurrected with the Prophets, the Truthful ones, the Martyrs and the Pious. O Allah, if they were doers of good, increase them in their good, and if they were sinners, erase their sins and cause them to meet up with peace and safety, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. O Allah, don’t deprive them of their reward and don’t cause us further trials and tribulations after them, and forgive them as well as all the Muslims.O Allah, make their graves to become a garden from amongst the gardens of Paradise, and don’t make their graves to become a pit from amongst the pits of the Fire, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
Now to the souls of the inmates of Mu’alla (Makka’s graveyard) and the inmates of Al-Baqee’a (Madina’s graveyard). And to the souls of all those Muslim men and women who have died as well as the believing men and women, with Your Mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
O Allah, let the Qur’an be our friend in this world and our companion in the grave, and let the Qur’an be our intercessor and on the Bridge over the fire of Hell our guiding light. O Allah, let the Qur’an be our associate in Paradise and let the Qur’an be to us a cover and concealment from the fire of Hell, and in all goodness let the Qur’an be our guide and leader, and may the peace and blessings and the mercy of Yours be bestowed upon our Master Muhammad and upon his family and all his companions. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Universe. (Now recite Surah Fatihah)
